SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (Java) - Part-Time

Responsibility and Requirements:

• Java (Core, Spring Boot, Microservices), Hibernate
• SQL (query writing, optimization, performance tuning)
• Kafka (understanding of messaging/transactions)
• Exception handling and API security (auth/authorization)

Platform / Tools

• Monitoring: Splunk / Kibana / logs
• DevOps: Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes (basic to intermediate)
• Database: MariaDB or other RDBMS

Functional Knowledge

• Exposure to Core Banking systems
• Understanding of transaction processing and application criticality
• Basic understanding of interest calculations (Savings/Current)

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of ACID properties
• Understanding of scalability (vertical & horizontal)
• Ability to design/debug distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Mandatory Requirements:

• Strong in Java, debugging, SQL, and troubleshooting
• Experience in production support (L2/L3)
• Ability to handle critical banking applications and P1 incidents
