Job Description :

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer, Application Support Engineer, or Java Developer. Developers with a strong interest in production support are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE programming with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience writing complex queries for troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Experience supporting and maintaining web-based applications and batch processing systems.
• Familiarity with JBoss, MariaDB, SQL databases, and application deployment environments.
• Exposure to job scheduling tools, MQ (Message Queue), and Connect:Direct (C:D) is advantageous.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), application deployment, and production support processes.
• Exposure to banking or financial services applications is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and meeting service level commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong foundation in SQL, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Passion for software engineering, application development, and production support.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to both development and support initiatives.
