Software Developer (Salesforce & Apex) Contract - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, and related Salesforce technologies.
• Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, workflows, and automation to support business processes.
• Integrate Salesforce with external applications and services using Salesforce APIs and integration technologies.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance with development standards and best practices.
• Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and governance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other project-related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant work experience.
• Experience developing and supporting Salesforce applications.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and web services.
• Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, workflows, security model, and automation features.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or an equivalent Salesforce certification.
