Software Engineer (Contract / Need To Work Shift Hours) - Part-Time

1 year contract under employment agency payroll

Full budget: $3500 to $5000 (company do not provide any bonus or allowance)

Shift Timing (Working 5 days a week, Must support including night shift, weekends and public holidays)

• Morning shift: 6am to 3pm
• General shift: 9am to 6pm
• Afternoon shift: 2pm to 11pm
• Night shift: 10pm to 7am

Transport is claimable for before 7am (for morning shift 6am to 3pm), after 11pm (afternoon shift 2pm to 11pm)

Jobscope and Requirement

• Design, code, test, and debug Java applications.
• Collaborate with teams to develop new features and maintain existing software.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and testing.
• Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently
• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines
• Experience in working with Java J2EE applications
• Experience in application support role for min 1 years for support. Or Developers willing to learn with good knowledge of Java, Unix, SQL
• Experience in programming languages such as JAVA/J2EE, Unix commands, SQL queries
• Knowledge of web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL, Shell
• Knowledge of Job scheduling, MQ setup , C:D setup experience is a plus
• Dynamic individual with thirst to learn
• Strong team player with excellent inter-personal skills
• Ownership oriented and ability to meet SLAs with no compromise on the quality of the work
• Degree in IT or Computer Science
• Must have hands on experience with command line in SQL & Linux (required to pass a online hackerrank assessment based on SQL / Linux, demonstrate SQL & Linux)
• Only for candidates who is able to commit to working the shift hours indicate on top even on weekends and public holidays
• Need to have eagerness to learn and perform with committment
• Able to handle high pressure and heavy workload, no ot pay
• Able to commit for the full 1 year contract
