Software Engineer - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure alignment and project success
• Take proactive ownership of production systems to maintain reliability and performance
• Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x to deliver scalable solutions
• Design, build, and support microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs to enable seamless integration and functionality
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services including ECS, EC2, and RDS to ensure cloud infrastructure stability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate and standardize environment provisioning
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, AWS CodeCommit, and CodePipeline to streamline software delivery
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and other relational databases to support data-driven applications
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues using Grafana and AWS CloudWatch to ensure operational excellence
• Manage authentication and authorization processes using Okta to secure applications and data
• Integrate APIs using MuleSoft to facilitate communication between disparate systems and services
