Software Quality Engineer (QA) - Part-Time

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for software quality and experience in both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions are reliable, functional, and meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Participate in requirement reviews and support quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Track, manage, and verify defects through to resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and QA processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in software quality assurance with hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD.
• Familiarity with OutSystems 11 is an advantage.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or similar.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB certification is an advantage but not required.
