Solution Architect (Enterprise Integration) Contract - Part-Time

Position Summary

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of complex systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end technology solutions for enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT strategy.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, architectural blueprints, and integration designs.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, principles, and guidelines.
• Oversee solution implementation, integration, and migration, providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate architecture review and approval processes, ensuring solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, DevOps, and business units to drive architecture adoption and ensure solution feasibility.
• Conduct technical evaluations and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools.
• Prepare and deliver clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support vendor evaluation, selection, and management to ensure alignment with architectural vision and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relatedfield.
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or related technical roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-grade solutions (on-premises and cloud).
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

Certifications(Preferred)

• TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, or other relevant certifications.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Network and Security Architecture.
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., MAS, PCIDSS, ISO 27001).
• Exposure to data governance, data lake, or advanced analytics platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience in the banking, finance, or highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.
