Solution Architect (JD#11197) - Part-Time

Job Summary

Seeking a Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of complex enterprise systems.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or related technical roles;
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-grade solutions across on-premises and cloud environments;
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling;
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems;
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills;
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

Desired Skill-set

• TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, or other relevant certifications;
• Familiarity with Network and Security Architecture;
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., MAS, PCI DSS, ISO 27001);
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), data governance, data lake/advanced analytics platforms, banking/finance domain, and ITSM/ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business requirements and IT strategy;
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, architectural blueprints, and integration designs;
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, principles, and architectural guidelines;
• Provide technical leadership during solution implementation, integration, and migration throughout the project lifecycle;
• Facilitate architecture reviews and ensure compliance with security, performance, and governance standards;
• Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, DevOps, business units, and vendors to ensure solution feasibility and adoption;
• Conduct technical evaluations and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools;
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations, while mentoring junior architects, engineers, and project teams.
