Solution Architect - Part-Time

Job Description

·      We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. 

·      The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, bridging business requirements with technical implementation while providing architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities

·       Translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture and solution design specifications. 

·      Design and document end-to-end solution architecture, including application components, integrations, interfaces, and data flows. 

·      Evaluate technology options and recommend the most suitable platforms, frameworks, and architectural approaches. 

·      Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, governance frameworks, and industry best practices. 

·      Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and project teams to ensure successful solution implementation.

·      Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance throughout development, integration, testing, and deployment. 

·      Review solution designs to ensure scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability, and security. 

·      Support technical decision-making by assessing trade-offs, risks, and implementation strategies. 

·      Engage with business stakeholders to validate architecture decisions and align technical solutions with business objectives. 

·      Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solution-level recommendations during project delivery. 

·      Produce and maintain architecture documentation, design artefacts, and technical standards. 

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. 

·      5–8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Software Architecture, or Enterprise Application Development. 

·      Proven experience designing enterprise-scale application architectures. 

·      Strong understanding of both Monolithic and Microservices/Distributed System architectures. 

·      Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·       Technical Skills Strong architecture design experience across: Application Architecture Data Architecture Integration Architecture Infrastructure Architecture 

·      Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 

·      Experience designing cloud-native and scalable enterprise applications. 

·      Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and enterprise integration patterns. 

·      Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. 

·      Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, security architecture, and compliance requirements. 

·      Experience using architecture modelling and documentation tools such as ArchiMate, Lucidchart, Draw.io, and UML.
