Job Summary

Administer and support IBM Lotus Domino servers, Windows and Linux server infrastructure, and Microsoft SharePoint environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance in an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support IBM Lotus Domino servers and enterprise messaging infrastructure to ensure reliable mail services
• Manage and troubleshoot Domino mail routing, replication, mail agents, and server performance to optimize messaging operations
• Respond to user requests for database creation, replication, and messaging services to maintain system functionality
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux servers in an enterprise environment to support business operations
• Perform server patching, upgrades, health monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for Windows and Linux servers to ensure system stability
• Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of server infrastructure through proactive management and monitoring
• Monitor server performance and maintain mail antivirus pattern updates to protect messaging systems
• Prepare server availability and performance reports to inform stakeholders and support decision-making
• Administer and support Microsoft SharePoint Server, including SharePoint Farm configuration, Web Front-End, Application, and SQL Server environments to facilitate collaboration
• Create and manage SharePoint web applications and site collections to support organizational needs
• Collaborate with project teams to support infrastructure projects, system enhancements, and operational improvements for continuous service improvement
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in IBM Lotus Domino administration, Windows Server administration, and Linux Server administration
• Proficient in Windows and Linux server installation, configuration, patch management, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of enterprise messaging systems and server infrastructure
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through managing complex server environments

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in VMware Horizon View (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) administration
• Experience in Microsoft SharePoint Server administration and SharePoint Farm management
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure monitoring and server performance management
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within team environments
