Telecom Engineer - Part-Time

• Design of telecommunication system (RadioCommunication System, Security System, Navigation Aids, Wired Communication)
• Preparation of drawings
• Preparation of specifications for procurement of equipment
• Develop detailed system design with diagrams and schematics.
• Selection of telecom equipment
• Develop bulk material listings
• Provide input for preparation of selected reports, weight, equipment list,function and fabrication / installation
• Coordination with other disciplines
• Professional responsibility
• Participate in all engineering phases
• Understand and interpret requirements from customers and authorities.
• Clarify design certification with customers and 3rd party.
• Participation in customer visits and –contact
• Participation in technical project meetings

Systems knowledge will be an added advantage:

1. Radio Communication Systems: GMDSS, Microwave Radio, SCADA Radio,Trunked Radio, Crane Radio, Radio Dispatch, Satellite Phone

2. Security Systems: Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection,PABX (VoIP), Person On Board (POB)

3. Navigation Aids: Radar, ECDIS, Auto Pilot,AIS, DGPS, LRIT, Compass, Echo Sounder, Speed Log, VDR, Navigation &Obstruction Lights, RACON, Fog Horn, BNWAS, VSAT, Entertainment System, EMS

4. Wired Communication: PAGA, Page Party, Talk Back, Smart Series,Driller, PABX (Analog), Sound-Powered Phone System

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or IT is required
• 3-5 years of related experiences preferably in a relevant industry such as oil &gas, marine, shipyard, petrochemical, power plant is a MUST
• Able to lead a team of telecom engineer/junior telecomengineer to meet various project schedule, customer expectation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken English).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
