Telemarketer Executive - Part-Time

Job Overview

The Telemarketing Executive is responsible for contacting prospective and existing customers, introducing the company’s services, identifying potential interest and arranging appointments for the sales team.

This role requires strong communication skills, confidence on the phone and the ability to engage prospects professionally without using overly aggressive sales tactics.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Contact prospective customers through outbound calls based on leads provided by the company

• Introduce the company, its services and relevant campaigns in a clear and professional manner

• Identify the prospect’s needs, level of interest and suitability through structured conversations

• Arrange qualified appointments for the sales team

• Conduct follow-up calls with prospects who have previously expressed interest

• Respond appropriately to basic questions

• Maintain accurate records of all calls, responses, follow-up dates and appointment outcomes in the company’s CRM system

• Update lead information and ensure that customer records remain complete and accurate

• Follow approved call scripts while adapting the conversation naturally based on the prospect’s responses

• Achieve assigned targets for calls made, conversations completed, qualified leads and appointments arranged

• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead quality and appointment conversion rates

• Provide regular feedback on common customer concerns and market responses

• Attend training sessions, team meetings and performance reviews when required

• Follow the company’s internal procedures, confidentiality requirements and applicable data protection regulations

• Represent the company professionally during every customer interaction

Requirements

• Good spoken English and clear communication skills

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls

• Confident, persuasive and able to build rapport quickly

• Resilient and able to handle rejection professionally

• Organised and disciplined in completing follow-ups

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets or customer databases

• Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales, customer service or appointment setting is preferred but not compulsory

• Training will be provided for suitable candidates
