Temenos Consultant - Part-Time

Job Summary

The Temenos Consultant is responsible for the implementation, customization, integration, and support of Temenos core banking solutions (such as T24/Transact, Infinity, Payments, and related Temenos products). The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality banking solutions aligned with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end implementation of Temenos products including requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

• Configure Temenos modules (e.g., T24/Transact, AA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, Trade Finance).

• Support system integration with third-party applications using APIs, web services, and middleware.

• Perform system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and post-go-live support.

• Provide functional and technical guidance to development teams.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, TSDs, and user manuals.

• Ensure adherence to banking regulations, security standards, and best practices.

• Support data migration, parameter setup, and system upgrades.

• Work closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on experience with Temenos T24/Transact and related modules.

• Good understanding of core banking operations and banking products.

• Knowledge of Temenos architecture, data models, and system configuration.

• Experience with Temenos development tools such as jBC, jBASE, TAFC, and IRIS.

• Familiarity with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

• Temenos certification(s) will be an added advantage.

• 3–10 years of relevant experience (depending on seniority).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in banking or financial services projects.

• Exposure to Temenos Infinity (Digital Banking) and Payments Hub.

• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project environments.

• Prior experience working with international banking clients.
