Test Analyst / UAT (Contract) - Part-Time

Test Analyst (Insurance) – 5+ Years Experience

12 months contract (renewable)

We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst with minimum 5+ years of experience in the finance or insurance industry to support business transformation, policy administration, claims, and regulatory programmes. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of insurance processes and proven expertise in test planning, execution, defect management, and stakeholder engagement across complex technology landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute functional, system integration, regression, interface, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Validate insurance processes across policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, customer servicing, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, business analysts, and development teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Support test data preparation, environment management, and testing governance activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous testing and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide regular test status reporting, risk assessments, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on the insurance sector.
• Solid understanding of Life, Health, or General Insurance products and business processes
• Strong knowledge of SIT, UAT, Regression, and End-to-End testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
