Test Automation - Part-Time

Job Description

·      We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise applications. 

·      The ideal candidate will have experience in building robust automation frameworks, executing regression test suites, and supporting AI-enabled testing initiatives.

·       This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality across complex enterprise environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Tosca, Playwright, JavaScript, and API automation tools. 

·      Support the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and automated regression test suites. 

·      Execute automated regression tests and analyse test results. 

·      Review the existing automation landscape, including frameworks, tools, scripts, and test coverage, and recommend improvements. 

·      Analyse business and technical requirements to identify automation opportunities. 

·      Design automated test scenarios and prepare test data required for execution. 

·      Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain and manage test data. 

·      Execute automated and API test cases, identify defects, and validate fixes through re-testing.

·       Log, track, and manage defects using standard defect management processes. 

·      Support the development, enhancement, and integration of AI-assisted testing and productivity tools. 

·      Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. 

·      Contribute to continuous improvement of automation standards, frameworks, and best practices. 

Required Qualifications 

·      Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. 

·      Experience in enterprise-scale or complex application testing. 

·      Hands-on experience with Tosca, Playwright, JavaScript, and API automation.

·      Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks and regression test suites. 

·      Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 

·      Experience working with multiple automation tools across different applications and technologies. 

·      Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Skills 

·      Experience supporting AI-assisted testing tools and automation initiatives. 

·      Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. 

·      Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. 

·      Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
