Third Party Risk Specialist - Part-Time

Our client is a leading global financial institution with a strong presence across Asia. They are looking for an experienced Third Party Risk Specialist to join their regional Technology team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for strengthening the organisation's third-party risk framework by overseeing vendor governance, outsourcing arrangements, and regulatory compliance across the vendor lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end governance of third-party vendors and outsourced technology service providers, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform vendor due diligence and risk assessments, evaluating areas such as cybersecurity, operational resilience, data privacy, and cloud services prior to onboarding and throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Monitor vendor performance by reviewing service levels, risk indicators, audit findings, and remediation plans to ensure ongoing compliance and effective risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Technology, Information Security, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and business teams, to provide guidance on third-party risk and outsourcing governance.
• Prepare risk reports and governance updates for senior management while driving continuous improvements to third-party risk management processes, controls, and operational resilience.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Risk Management, Technology Risk or a related discipline within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of outsourcing governance, technology risk, cybersecurity controls, cloud services, and regulatory frameworks such as MAS TRM or equivalent.
• Experience conducting vendor due diligence, risk assessments, control reviews, and ongoing monitoring of critical third-party service providers.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business and technology stakeholders across regional teams.
