WINDOWS ENGINEER (PROJECT CONTRACT)

Job Title: Windows System Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Windows System Engineer for deploying a project requiring Active Directory updates across a network. You will work with our team to audit and deploy ofstandardised configurations on workstations and servers on multiple networks in different physical locations.

Key Responsibilities:

(1) AD & GPO Management: Audit existing AD structures, DNS health, and GPOs. Import, test, and deploy pre-configured GPO templates.

(2) Pilot & Deployment: Coordinate pilot group testing on target endpoints, resolve application conflicts, and trigger remote domain-wide group policy updates.

(3) Scans & Troubleshooting: Run baseline configuration scans to identify gaps and handle exception-based troubleshooting.

(4) Maintenance: Maintain core domain services (AD, DNS, DHCP) across physical, VM, and cloud environments.

(5) Documentation: Maintain clear logs of GPO changes, active OU configurations, and generate standard system compliance reports for management visibility and project sign-off.

Core Requirements:

(1) Hands-on experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, and DHCP.

(2) Strong proficiency in Group Policy Object (GPO) management.

(3) Familiarity with standard OS hardening practices (e.g., CIS Level 1 benchmarks).

(4) Intermediate PowerShell scripting skills for automated remote infrastructure tasks.

(5) Good to have: Experience with scanning tools (CIS-CAT, Nessus) and the Microsoft Security Compliance Toolkit.

(6) 1-3 years of Windows Infrastructure / Server Support experience is preferred.

MONTHS: Up to 4 months

LOCATION: Yishun, Bedok, Bukit Batok (1 or 2 other locations) Most or all work is on-site.
