Job Description - Warehouse Associate

Milpower Source, Inc. is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of power conversion, power management, and networking solutions for the defense and aerospace markets. We work closely with the industry’s leading OEMs, integrators, and subsystem developers.

 Our products include DC/DC converters, AC/DC inverters, solid state power distribution, generator control, VPX, and rugged battery backup solutions. We offer a unique lineup of power management solutions, offering software defined power control, as well as a rugged line of USB hubs, ethernet switches, routers, and other network solutions. We have a global footprint, with locations in the US, Israel, Switzerland, and India. 

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team! This candidate will perform a variety of functions to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and in accordance with established performance standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receive and track shipments
  • Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
  • Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
  • Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
  • Tag and label merchandise
  • Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type
  • Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Prepare all orders for shipment
  • Verify the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance
  • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
  • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team
  • Required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 49 pounds
  • Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Able to travel between both local Milpower Source facilities on occasion (Belmont, NH & Manchester, NH)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with UPS, FedEx and/or DHL
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
