Eastport is the only Singapore home grown company established since 1980 offering international ship-brokering and consultancy services in all four shipping markets. These are the Freight Market, the Sale & Purchase Market, the New Building Market and the Demolition Market. Eastport expanded regionally and became the first in its industry to have set up in China, located in Shanghai since 1995. Eastport also is the first Asian based ship-brokerage company to enter the Western market place by setting up Eastport Maritime USA LLC in Connecticut in 1998. Following that, Eastport Holland based in Spijkenisse (near Rotterdam) was established in 2000. Most recently, we have expanded our presence in the UAE with the opening of Eastport Maritime Middle East DMCC in Dubai during 2016. With more than 160 staff around the world (over 100 in Singapore) today, Eastport is the largest Asian based ship-brokerage that participates in wide variety of industries including Chemicals, Gas, Specialty Products, Vegetable Oils, Biofuels, Crude Oil & Petroleum and the Dry Bulk.
