Packaging Engineer (Paper)

Job Description


· Developing initial packaging design layouts and new technology concepts
· Electrical and mechanism design
· Model/prototype building to prove function, manufacturability, and robustness
· Analyze data generated from builds and lab experiments
· Support technology investigation and development
· Generating and accepting constructive feedback in brainstorming and design review forums
· Perform tolerance analyses to verify the performance of mechanisms and cosmetic specifications in the presence of high volume dimensional variation
· Design layout and structure in 2D drawings
· Detailed design and 2D documentation of all parts and assemblies
· Support build activities including finding the root cause for failures and solutions for issues that impede build progress
· Work with operations teams to evaluate and develop supply chains capable of manufacturing new subsystems and products define testing requirements and equipment
· Improve design of existing products
· Produce prototype/final product in 3D


Job Requirements


· Min 1 year of relevant working experience
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and problem solving skills
· Team player with a positive attitude
· Independent and able to multi-task in fast paced environment
