The Principal Solution Consultant role for NetSuite OpenAir is a specialist presales role. The consultant is responsible for supporting the NetSuite OpenAir business and Go-To-Market business development initiatives and meet monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Netsuite Overlay Sales and Field Sales organizations.  As a member of this team, you will be a product and domain expert, providing advisory and guidance throughout the sales process.  You bring a depth of professional services automation experience in solution consulting with previous NetSuite OpenAir experience as an asset.  You enjoy providing application expertise to stakeholders.


  • Act as subject matter expert in      NetSuite OpenAir sales opportunities
  • Help develop content and      support Go-To-Market initiatives
  • Clearly articulate the benefits      of NetSuite's applications to all levels including line of business      managers and "C" level executives
  • Provide input to other      cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements      as needed
  • Maintain account and      opportunity updates within our internal sales force automation system to      manage and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Develop, present and deliver      high-impact demonstrations of the NetSuite OpenAir solution
  • Perform      customer needs gathering and requirement analysis ensuring their needs are      met in the sales process
  • Able      to design and configure solution proof of concepts when required


  • 5+ years in a pre-sales,      implementation consultant roles
  • Professional      Services industry experience      ideal
  • Previous experience with      similar Professional Services Automation (PSA) solutions as presales,      implementation consultant, super user
  • Experience with project management/accounting      process and packages. Thorough understanding of project management,      project resource management, project accounting principles is an asset
  • Previous      application experience in one or more of the following will be a plus: NetSuite OpenAir, NetSuite, Oracle Primavera, Oracle PPM
  • Technical skills in following will be a plus: Web Services, XML and SOAP, JavaScript.
  • Mature, independent self-starter with solid presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to influence others in order to successfully increase deal size and accelerate the      buying process
