Cashier (Applying for Halal Cert)

As our Cashier, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, handles payments, assists with simple packing, and supports smooth daily outlet operations. You will also help coordinate with the production team on stock availability to ensure customers are served efficiently.

Bao’s Pastry is currently in the process of applying for halal certification, and we warmly welcome applicants of all races and religions to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Handle cash and digital payments using the POS system.
• Assist with cashiering duties and daily sales transactions.
• Pack pastries according to company standards.
• Assist with minor food assembly and packing when required.
• Communicate with the production team on stock availability and stock checks.
• Keep the cashier counter and outlet area clean, tidy, and hygienic.

Requirements

• Friendly and service-oriented.
• Able to speak basic English.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Able to use or learn the POS cashiering system.
• No experience required; training will be provided.
