Pastoral Care Officer (Yishun) - Part-Time

🌟 Pastoral Care Officer (5-Month Contract)
💰 Salary: $3,200 – $4,000/month
📅 Contract Period: July 2026 – November 2026
🕒 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break)

Requirements

✅ Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Sciences, or related disciplines
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience working with children aged 6–12
✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
✅ Ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner
✅ Experience in educational, youth development, counselling, or student support environments is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Student Support & Intervention

• Provide immediate support to students experiencing emotional or behavioural challenges
• Assist with student de-escalation and intervention processes
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student-related matters
• Collaborate with school stakeholders to support student well-being and development

🔹 Mentoring & Engagement

• Build positive relationships with students requiring additional support
• Conduct regular check-ins and provide guidance to encourage positive behaviours
• Support students' social-emotional development

🔹 Programme Support

• Assist in student engagement activities and programmes
• Support after-school activities and learning journeys
• Participate in case discussions and intervention planning meetings

📌 Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
