· Take charge of project or vessel and carry out all QA function for the all the discipline such as Structure/Piping/Outfitting/Electrical/HVAC project or vessel.
· Prepare list of daily job activities and provide clear job instructions before delegating the jobs to subordinates.
· Supervise job coordination, monitor conformity towards quality, environmental and safety management systems policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise job coordination, monitor conformity towards quality, environmental and safety management systems policies and procedures.
· Ensure yard checks are done and repairs are completed (if necessary) prior to official inspection being arranged.
· Monitor and ensure all work is carried out according to the latest revision drawing and complies with Contract Specifications, Class Requirements and Quality Management System procedures.
· Liaise with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Company to arrange NDT.
· Arrange, coordinate and carry out all the inspection and testing with Customer Representative and/or Classification Surveyor as per Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
· Arrange and liaise with Customer Representative and Classification Surveyor on survey and inspection item on projects or ships assigned to him/her.
· Monitor the progress of work and report the status of completion of the official inspections such as accepted, rejected, postponed or cancelled to the respective project manager.
· Prepare, review and document inspection and traceability records, certificates, radiography films and NDT reports for the submission to relevant party.
· Check and endorse inspection record prior to issue to Customer.
· Ensure his/her subordinates comply with Company’s procedure and work instruction.
· Report any non-conformance (NC) and issue Corrective Action Request (CAR), where necessary.
· Compile the quality records for final project documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant disciplines
Minimum 10 years of relevant QAQC experience in Oil&Gas/ Marine/ Offshore industry
Must have minimum of 3 years’ experience working as QA/QC Lead
Able to establish quality standards by understanding Class requirements, Customer requirements and internal Shipyard workmanship standards
Added advantage Certified Welding inspector certificate AWS-CWI or CSWIP 3.1
Added advantage NDT Level II in RT / UT / MPI or LPT
Added advantage ISO 9001:2015 Lead auditor certificate
