Manager, Digital Marketing reports to the Marketing lead and Digital Business Department leadership. The role supports the Marketing Lead on the planning and formulation of the marketing initiatives for HKTDC’s global B2B O2O sourcing services, as well as taking the ownership of buyer and supplier acquisition, activation and engagement of HKTDC’s digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Own and report the Key Performance Indicators and provide direction to optimize and scale up the buyer and supplier acquisition, activation and retention on the HKTDC’s online sourcing platforms – hktdc.com Sourcing www.sourcing.hktdc.com
- Assess user behaviours and determine the growth strategy to attract global online buyer traffic, enquiries and supplier listing
- Set strategy and tactics to optimise funnels based on split testing and optimisation of campaigns, offers, calls-to-action (CTAs) and lead-generating forms
- Develop and execute a scalable marketing plan to increase marketing funnel efficiency, drive qualified sales leads and deliver scalable growth for our products and offerings
- Lead the buyer and supplier acquisition, content and performance marketing functions and work closely with other teams e.g. retention, engagement, data and innovation, sales etc to achieve business result
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to achieve implementation excellence
- Lead marketing managers and associates in an agile manner, cultivating a speedy, flexible and fail-fast working culture, and enriching the business entrepreneurship
- Be the partner of the Marketing lead and other function heads to build synergy on overall strategic planning and achieving business results
- Stay abreast of the industry trends and competitor activities, be able to think critically and provide strategic insights for the Digital Business Department
Requirements:
- University degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum 12 years of working experience in digital marketing with strong hands-on experience on performance marketing, including but not limited to user acquisition and activation, funnel and journey strategies, web analytics, A/B testing and inbound marketing tactics , ideally in regional context
- Strong knowledge of marketing technology and best practices, understanding of all current digital marketing channels including SEM, SEO, DSP, programmatic, social, email, etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge on B2B e-commerce business and digital marketing for acquiring buyers globally for suppliers from the Asia, especially Hong Kong, Mainland China and South East Asia
- A critical thinker with strong stakeholder management, project management and people development skills
- Adaptive to fast changes and keeping abreast of competitor's activities
- Excellent verbal and written in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
