What is the Digital Resilience Bonus?
The Digital Resilience Bonus (DRB) is a cash grant of up to $10,000, launched in June 2020 by IMDA.
It is designed to encourage Singapore companies adopt digital solutions that will improve efficiency in the post-COVID economy.
It is currently only available for Food Services and Retail companies, which have been among the most impacted by social distancing measures. It may be available for additional industry sectors a later time.
How do I qualify for the Digital Resilience Bonus?
To be eligible for the Digital Resilience Bonus, your company must:
1 – Be incorporated as a Food Service or Retail business in Singapore
Check if your company SSIC code is within the List of Food Services SSIC or the List of Retail SSIC.
2 – Be incorporated on or before 26 May 2020
3 – Have a PayNow corporate account
Don’t have a PayNow corporate account? You can ask your corporate bank, most local banks provide this service.
4 – Have an Accounting Solution that supports PEPPOL e-invoicing

5 – Adopt Digital Solutions from specific categories

How can I receive the Full Bonus?
The Digital Resilience Bonus is broken down into 3 payouts. To receive all 3 payouts, your company must be using solutions from the 3 categories below. You will receive a payout for each category.
A. For Food Services Companies

3. Digital Ordering (Dine In/Takeout)

A. Food Delivery Solutions (via food delivery platforms or own online website) OR
B. e-Procurement Solutions

How to apply for the Digital Resilience Bonus?
There is no need for you to apply. Your digital solution providers are the ones that will inform IMDA about your solution usage and eligibility. What you should do is to remind your solution providers about it. Tell them to inform IMDA about your digital solutions usage.
How to claim the Digital Resilience Bonus?
Your digital solution providers are the ones that will inform IMDA. You don’t need to claim anything yourself.
When do I receive the payout?
The processing time by IMDA is about 1 month. Payouts will start from August 2020 onward.
When is the deadline to claim Digital Resilience Bonus?
IMDA hasn’t yet announced a deadline. However if you want to ensure getting your DRB payout early, we recommend you ask your Solution Providers to inform IMDA as soon as possible. We foresee that the processing time will increase as the number of companies request for DRB.
